Life Reflections Kelly was born on July 5, 1962 in Fort Wainwright, Alaska to his parents, Julius, Sr., and Hattie Flye. He decided to commit his life to Christ on August 17, 1971. He graduated high school from Litzinger School for the Deaf in 1981. On December 9, 1982 Kelly became the proud father of his son Cortez Decarlos Flye. Years ofterwards, Kelly became the proud grandfather of 3 grandchildren starting on June 3, 2006. Kelly loved boxing so much that he could imitate Boxing Champion Muhammad Ali to a "tee"! He loved baseball and attended games with his brother. He was the happiest, most patient, caring, and loving person who loved helping anyone when needed. He was fearless and never allowed his inability to hear stop him. He could be comical at times as well. Kelly Andre Flye departed this life on February 9, 2015 in St. Louis, MO due to complications of heart disease. He was 52 years old. Kelly is survived by his loving son Cortez (Lashina) of Memphis, TN. His sister Debra Thomas (Charles) of St Louis, MO. Brother retired MSgt. (ret) Julius, Jr. (Dr. Anita) Flye of Bossier City, LA. Three grandchildren, Cortez, Jr., Carmelo and Carlia. Niece Lisa, Nephew Byron, Great nieces Brittney and Cheyenne, and great nephew Henry, along with a host of loving family and devoted friends. He is preceded in death by his mother and father MSG Julius, Sr., and Hattie Flye. Interment: Laurel Hill Cemetery 2000 N. Pennsylvania St. Louis, MO 63133 .
