Life ReflectionsSunrise: October 12, 1961 Sunset: September 7, 2018 Kelly Van Dunlap was born October 12, 1961 in St. Louis, MO to the union of James Van Dunlap, Jr. and Martha Sue Chase. His father James, mother Sue, and two brothers Myron, and Robert preceded him in death. Kelly confessed his hope in Christ. Kelly attended Smith Elementary in Robertson, MO and graduated from Berkeley High School in 1980.He was a very outgoing, outspoken and the life of the party kind of person. he was very intelligent and artistic as well. Kelly loved nice looking cars, and had a passion for racing motorcycles, and he also loved playing basketball. Kelly was known by many and no stranger to anyone. He loved to make others laugh with his jokes. Kelly had a big heart and was willing to help others. Kelly departed this life on Friday, September 7, 2018 at 9:13 P.M. at Christian Northeast Hospital. He leaves to cherish his memory, a very special friend, Geneva Butler, Paws Dunlap; four brothers, Kelvin Dunlap, Keith Dunlap, Kenny Hudson (Denise), and Kris Dunlap; one sister, Roslyn Dunlap; a step-mother Shirlene Stegall; three step-sisters, Ronnell, Rolanda, and Rashaunna; two uncles, Ira Dunlap of Oklahoma and Byron Dunlap of St. Louis, MO; four aunts, Delores Clay, Avis Dunlap, Rosa Landers and Debra Dunlap; and a host of nephews, nieces, great-nieces and nephews, cousins and friends; a special classmate, Priscilla McDonald-Williams.
