Life ReflectionsMRS. KAREN GRAVES-BAKER was born June 8,1953 in St. Louis, Missouri. She attended St .Louis Public Schools and graduated from Sumner High School. She graduated from the University of Colorado with a major in Recreation and a minor in Education. She worked at Mallinckrodt Radiopharmaceutical most of her adult life and retired in November of 20 10. At an early age, Karen accepted Christ as her personal Savior while attending the family church, St. Paul AME, under the pastorate of the late Rev. Vinton R. Anderson. Karen rededicated her life to Christ in June of2012 in the presence of the Rev. Earl Strauther and best friend, Janet Fox and then the following week she was re-baptized to celebrate her renewed faith and commitment to the Lord. GLORY! After battling illness for several years, the Lord called Karen home on Tuesday, July 3, 2012 at the age of 59. Her parents Eloise Graves and Fred Prince and brother, Frederick Prince, Sr. preceded her in death. She leaves to cherish her memory loving husband Michael G. Baker Sr. and devoted son Michael G. Baker Jr.; cousin/sister and beloved caregiver, Tyronica Moody (Roni); mother-in-law Mazetta Baker, four aunts, Brunette Prince, Minnietta Ready, Melba Clark, and Gail Throwe ;one uncle, Ned Arthur Camp; niece Tomarius Prince; nephew, Frederick Prince Jr.; one brother-in-law, Stephon Baker; four sister-in-laws, Idella Billingsley, Shirley Jean Baker, Marcia Faye Baker and Angela Denise Blake, three great-nephews and a host of cousins, family, and friends. Interment:St. Louis Memorial Crematory .
