Johnnie attended Vashon High School before enlisting in the United States Marine Corp. While enlisted, he fought in the Vietnam War. After Johnnie served his country he worked for General Motors and Metropolitan Sewer District.Johnnie was known for making a yard look beautiful. Many have witnessed him working hard in the yard planting flowers, mowing the lawn and pulling weeds. He could take junk and turn it into a great lawn ornament. December 12, 2020 Johnnie was called home. He was preceded by his father, Johnnie Williams, Sr., step father, Raymond Edge, mother, Nettie Edge, brothers, Carey, Emmett, James and Herman, along with his sister Gail. To cherish him in loving memory are, fiance, Connie King; children, Kathy Weekly, LaShas Brown, Johnnie Williams and Jermaine Williams; brother, Richard Williams; sisters, Lajuana Newman and Sandra Neely; lots of grandchildren, great-grand-children, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
