Life ReflectionsJohnella Abernathy (Jay) was born on January 23, 1951 in North Helena, Arkansas to Ernestine Sidneyand John Jefferson. She was the second oldest of six children.She was preceded in death by her youngest brother Charles, her father, John and step-father, Otis.She was baptized at a young age and did accept Jesus Christ as her personal Savior.She retired from the United States Army after 23 years. She worked at Blue Cross-Blue Shield formany years. Later she worked at Kirkwood materials and Walmart. She enjoyed a good time with herfamily and planning events.Johnella and Mark have been married for 20 years.Johnella is survived by her siblings, Otis Sidney, Jr., Louvenia (Donald) Bass, Rebecca Sidney, and Martha Sidney; her children Valery Jefferson, Kevin (Lisa) Jefferson, Marquetta (Charles) Willis, and RamonAbernathy; six grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.Interment:J.B.
