John Aka J.D. Douglas Davidson

Obituary John Douglas "J.D." Davidson was born to John Robertson and Ethel Lee Davidson on April 17, 1948,J.D. was raised on the family farm in RURAL ROUTE, Woodland, Mississippi. The youngest of sixteen children, he attended and graduated from Beasley Elementary High Schood, Pheba, Mississippi. He was converted at the family church, Robinson Chapel Christian Methodist Episcopalfoundered and built by his father at a very young age. After moving to St. Louis he joined the First ChristianMethodist Independent Church, founded by the Reverend Lynmon A. Stamps. later, he joined the Faith Methodist Independent Church where his brother Lilton Davidson is Pastor. He was a faithful servant as the driver of the church bus as long as he was physically able, a position he dearly loved. At the time of his death"J.D." was a professional truck driver in the Davidson Family hauling business. He was dearly loved by allwhom he came in contact with. J.D. departed this life Sunday, November 16, 2014 at 12:26 A.M. at the Christian Northeast Hospital. He was preceded in death by his father and mother, one sister, Inez Brown-Barber, and 6 brothers:Odell Davidson, Wardell Davidson, William Henry Davidson, Lee Morris Davidson, Arthur Davidson and LonzoDavidson. He leaves to cherish his memoory: his wife, Pamela Davidson; two sons, Justin Davidson and RussellDavidson; two daughters, Artiffany of West Chester, OH, Christina Hayes of Tuscaloosa, AL; grandchildren,Randy D'Angelo Washington, Xavier Washington of West Chester, OH; six brothers, John Lee Davidson (Dorothy) of St. Ann, MO, L.T. Davidson (Christine) of Breckenridge Hills, MO, Curtis Davidson (Climmie) ofWright City, MO, Charlie Davidson (Ann) of Florissant, MO, Chester Davidson, Sr. (Mary) of BreckenridgeHills, MO, Lilton Davidson (Dorothy) of Florissant, MO; one sister, Hattie Loving-Smith of Swansea, IL; threesisters-in-law, Modessie Davidson, Caral Davidson, and Mary Davidson; and a host of nieces, nephews,cousins and friends.Interment:St. Peters CemeteryLucas Hunt RoadSt. Louis, MO 63121 .
