John Ree Baylis

Obituary John Ree Baylis was born December 25, 1932 in Columbia, Mississippi to Neonia Brown and Floyd Baylis who preceded him in death. He was also preceded in death by five sisters, four brothers, a son and one grandson. He was reared by his cousins whom they called, Uncle Henry and Aunt Mary Clark of Columbia, Mississippi. John joined First Baptist Church of Maplewood in 1975 and was baptized. He was joined in holy matrimony to Brenda Aitch on April 16, 1977. He was educated in the Marion County School District in Columbia, Mississippi. He worked as an off shoreman for many years, and did construction work for McBride & Sons and also worked with Ed Jefferson Construction for many years. J That night you took your flight God gave me strength and courage to go on. John I will miss you always, I Love You, I will cherish the memories. We will meet again, together we will fly around.
