Jimmie Lee Allen

In Loving MemoryJimmie Lee Allen was born June 8, 1931 in the Hub Community near Columbia, MS. He was the youngest of eleven children born to the late J.B. and Harriet (Johnson) Allen. Jimmie began his fellowship at a young age. Jimmie attended and graduated from Globe Academy School in Marion County. He came to St. Louis, MO in 1954 and worked in the Construction Industry.He married Doretha Abram in 1956. To their union three children were born, two sons, Michael and Gregory Allen of St. Louis, NO; one daughter, Beverly (Lonnie) Wade of Paducah, KY; four grandchildren, Shannon, Terrance, Cherelle Wade and Greg Allen (who preceded him in death). 2 great-grandchildren, Brianna Allen and Madison Burns.
