Tompkins, Sr. His parents and grandparents: Mossie Jones, Rena Ash, Charlie Ash, Jr., and Willie Tompkins, Jr. preceded him in death. Our beloved Jerel had a heart and soul of gold. He was the life of every party and had a caring heart and a winning personality that brought happiness, laughs, hope, inspiration, and comfort to many. He was truly a God send. He was willing to take care of anyone and lend a helping hand to anyone in need, especially his family and friends. He was a mom's boy, taking care of her through years of sickness as well as his dad. He also took on a huge responsibility at a young age to take care of his brothers and sister. He was our earth angel. . Jerel also loved cars, fancy writing, entertainment, and entertaining. He had fun in his childhood spending time with family, friends, visiting the country, and cracking jokes with his cousins: Keith, Sophia, Douglas, his aunt Andrea, and many others. Jerel was a people's person. Jerel was a good Samaritan. He rescued an elderly person from a fire and was injured but still carried them to safety. He loved his occupation and made manager at most of his jobs. He gained many friends doing customer service work, many of them, as with most of Jewel's friends, were considered family. He also enjoyed meeting people and playing Uno online. He found many family members, old friends, and made new friends through facebook. Jerel's Jobs and Extended family include co-workers and customers of: Desta's, Kings, Wellston, Widwest fueL and BP Jerel attended: McCluer and University City High School and studied Auto Jerelleaves to cherish his memory: 2 brothers and 1 sister-(in-Iaw): Marvin Jr. (Meghan), Edward (Andrea), and Michelle (Howard III), Grandma, Gloria.
