He was employed for many years as aMaintenance Technician. He was united in holy matrimony to Latondra Bates and to this union oneson; Christopher was born.He professed a hope in Christ at the Tabernacle of praise Seventh Day Adventist Church under theleadership of Rev. Donald Rolle and pastor Claval Hunter.On Thursday morning April 14, 2016, James was called home to be with the Lord. He leaves to cherish his memory; his loving wife Latondra; 3 sons: Christopher, William, James; His parents, Margaret Shaw and Lee Grant; 2 grandsons, 5 sisters; Shirley (Mike), Linda (Mark), Loresa, Vera(Byron), Angela, 2 brothers; Randy (Sharona), Lee, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins,relatives and friends.Interment:Lake Charles Cemetery7775 St. Charles Rock RoadSt. Louis, MO 63114 .
