James Allen Jackson

Celebrating the Life of "James Allen "Nick" Jackson" Jimmy was born October 15, 1942 in St. Louis, Missouri to the parents of Henrietta Kimble and alfred Jackson. His father Alfred Jackson, Sr., and his grandson Jamar Farmer preceded him in death. James confessed his love for the Lord as a young boy. He was baptized by Minister Alexander at St. mary's Spiritural Temple Church in the Meacham Park-Kirkwood, MO area. James attended the Kirkwood R-7 School System. Along with his many other professions, he was gainfully employed with the City of Kirkwood for many years. James was a loving and kind generous sould. He was well loved by all those who knew him. The community had the utmost respect for him. His favorite past- time with his family and friends was listening to the Blues, Jazz and Gospel music. Early Sunday morning surrounded by his sisters, brothers, his childrend and his grandchildren, James "Jimmy" Jackson soul took flight and departed this life at Mercy Hospital at 2:45 a.m. Now to be forever present with the Lord. James leaves to mourn his passing and cherish his memory is his beloved mother Mrs. Henrietta Kimble. step=father Mr. Anderson Kimble. His two sons maurice Pullings and Marvel Folks; his daughters Alfreda Clay, Lameril Pullings McCullough, Luson Bell and Nina Jackson. three brothers Alfred Jackson, Jr., Joel Jackson and Elestla Tatum. Four sisters Particia Word, Joyce Coleman, Valerie Jones, Edythe Richey and (Step-sister) Brenda Fields. Two half sisters Maudie Foster and Ruth Ann Hogan His loving aunt Betty Jo Phillips, six grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, aunts uncles, cousins, friends and special friend Clarence "Buddy" West.
