Iva Mae Bell

ObituaryLife ReflectionsIva Mae Wasfiington Bell was born on Aug. 8, 1919 in Le Vesque, Arkansas to Joseph Chambers Washingtion and Matilda Washington. Iva had 4 siblings. Irene, JessieMae, Madeline, and Wilbert who have preceded her in death. She and her family moved to St. Louis while she was a child. She was raised Baptist and professed Christ at an early age. Iva was educated in the St. Louis Public School System. After 25 years of service in housekeeping at St. Mary's Hospital she retired. In 1940, at the age of 21, Iva married Joe Lee Bell. Although they did not have children of thier own, they had many nieces and nephews. Proceeded in death by her beloved nieces and great nephwes, Marion Little Mitvhell and Joesph and Gaylen Sanderson, Helen Little Johnson. Leaving nephew, Jimmy Washingtion andniece, Gwen Walker, also devoted great nephews', Michael, Karl (Jean) Johnson, James (LaQuana) Johsnon. As well as great niece, Lori (Leonard) Bratton are all left to cherish her memory. And one good friend Mrs. Williams. Anyone who knew Iva knew that she believed that Jesus delivered and kept her always. Please continue to keep us in your prayers.Internment:St. Peters Cemetery .
