Isaac Willis

Life Reflections Isaac Willis, Sr. was born February 21, 1930 in. St. Louis, MO to the late Emma Willis and Albert Willis. Mama Emma and Albert settled in Richmond Heights to raise their family. Isaac graduated from Douglas Senior Nigh School. Thereafter, he joined the United States Army. Corporal Willis served honorably during the Korean War and worked as a medic. Post release, he married Joan Ethel Harry. Ike retired from 115D after 27 years of employment. He was a Deacon and dedicated member of St. Louis Bibleway Church for more than 40 years. Ike transitioned Thursday, March 7, 2019 at Mercy Hospi-tal. He was preceded in death by his wife Joan E. Willis, daughters JoAnne E. Pope and Rose Wilkes; both parents, siblings EC, James, Eddie, Mary, Dora, Betty Jean and Ruby. Isaac is survived by: his sons, Michael (Iris), Isaac II (Denise), Raymond (Denise), his daughters, Vanita (Sidney), Vanessa (Michael), Jeanne, Mary Anne and Brenda Cole; grandchildren, great- grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, ghost of other loved ones; and good friend, Michael Booker.
