Irene R. Franklin

Life ReflectionsIrene R. Franklin was born the daughter of Cleave and Frances Railey. She was one of six Children from that union. Irene professed her Faith and Belief in the Principles of Jesus Christ as a young woman. She was a faithful Member of Lively Stone Church Of God in st. Louis, Missouri. The st. Louis Public Schools provided her academic training. Irene worked as a nurses aide at St. Mary's Itospital after trying her hand with nursing. Irene became a Licensed Cosmetologist and remained licensed until her death. She worked for the United States Postal service for 25 years. Irene enjoyed traveling and loved family gatherings and loved dining out. Irene was called to her eternal rest Monday, October 21, 2013. She was preceded in death by all of her siblings, Lucille, Violet, Joseph, Raymond and Thomas. She leaves behind: a Very Special niece, Ruby (Theodore) Craig; nephew, rlarold (Nancy) Norman; nieces, Frances White and family, Cora Malone and family; nephew, Dr. Michael Railey; great nieces, Angela and Alicia Craig; great nephews, Keith and Kevin Craig; great-great nieces, Lakisha Boyd and Erica Craig; and a host of great-great-great nieces and nephews; her Dear cousin, Betty Britts; and long time friend and neighbor, Mr. Jackson.
