Life ReflectionsHerbert Walker, Jr. was born March 11, 1939 to Herbert and Rosie B. Walker of Robertson, Missouri. He attended Fairmount Elementary and Douglas High School. He was married for twenty-four years to Charlie Mae Baker; they raised three children. Herbert was an extremely nice person with a big heart. To know him was to love him. He retired from Hunter Engineering after twenty-five years of dedicated service. On Monday, January 9, 2017, Herbert transitioned from this life at 4:45 p.m. He was preceded in death by his wife, Charlie Mae, both parents, two brothers, Raymond and Theodore Walker, three sisters, Lucille Jackson, Rachel Hellens and Elnora Combs. He leaves to cherish his memory: two sisters "- Rose (Augustus) Lewis and Pearl Case; three step-children Shirley Vincent, Thelma Hellens and Charles Baker; thirteen grandchildren; twenty-six great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, great nieces, nephews, great nephews, cousins and friends.
