Harvey Lee Pace

November 2, 1934 — June 10, 2014

Harvey Lee Pace was born to Beatrice and Sylvester Pace on November 2, 1934 in Columbia, Mississippi. His mother, father and two sisters preceded him in death. Harvey moved to St. Louis, MO when he was four years old. He was educated in the Public School System of St. Louis County, Missouri and attended Douglas High School in Webster Groves. He later enlisted in the US Army where he served for 2 years and was ranked Specialist 4th Class. He received an Honorable Discharge in March 1959. Harvey later went to work for TWA where he retired as lead Super- visor in 1997. Harvey accepted Christ at an early age. He attended Mount Zion Missionary Baptist Church of Richmond Heights, MO> On January 29, 1997, Harvey married Christine DeDeaux. He was a devoted and loving husband and loved to travel and visit family and friends. He was loved by many and will be missed by all. On Tuesday, June 10, 2014, Harvey departed this life to be with our Father at St. Johns Place Rehabilittion Center. He leaves to cherish his memory: his devoted wife, christine DeDeaux Pace; a son, Jerry (Gloria); daughters, Ada, Sylvia and Gay (Patrick) all of St. Louis, MO; brother, R.L. Pace of Columbia, Mississippi and Robert Pace (Jacqueline) of St. Louis, MO; sisters-in-law, Ann DeDeaux and Nedia Hampton (Ron) both of St. Louis, MO; brothers-in-law, James DeDeaux of St. Louis, MO, Arthur Lee DeDeaux of Columbia, MS and Willis DeDeaux of St. Louis; his grandchildren; his best friend, Ed Sanders; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Interment: J.B. National Cemetey 2600 Sheridan St. Louis, MO 63126 .
