Life's Reflections GWENDOLYN FRANCIS ENNIS ZIMMERMAN was born to the late George and Marietta Ennis on August 28, 1940 in Clayton, Missouri. She was educated in the Kirkwood Public Schools. In 1959, Gwendolyn married Charles Everett Zimmerman. For many years, she was employed as a school bus driver by Russman, Mayflower, and Laidlaw companies. Gwen accepted Jesus Christ as her Savior at an early age at Unity Missionary Baptist Church. She attended Sunday school, Baptist Training Union, and regular worship services growing up. Presently she was serving as recording secretary for the Mission Auxiliary. Gwen was in regular attendance until she was called to join Jesus in heaven. She was active in Berean District Association, where she attended many Leadership Training Schools. Gwen was a student of the Word and she had a zeal for learning and sharing the Gospel. She was a Life Member of the District Mission Auxiliary. She often participated in Prayer Day services held in the District. She was also active in the Missionary Baptist State Convention of Missouri. Preceding her in death were her parents, three sisters (Constance, Peggy, and Beverly). To cherish her memory, she is survived by one sister, Elaine Ennis; five children, Lori Powell (Terrance), Gail, Craig, Jody Mosely (John), Christopher (Tammy); and her long time companion, Kenneth Clark, 13 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.Cremation following funeral. .
