Her parents, husband, two sisters (Jessie and Babygirl), two neph- ews (Ricky and Travis), stepson (Marvin), daughter-in-law (Eliza) and two grandsons (Douglas and Gerald) preceded her in death. She confessed a hope in Christ at an early age attending Rising Sun Missionary Baptist Church in Mississippi, and upon moving to st. Louis and worked for 905 Liquor, coordinating glass, are and gift baskets for special events. She enjoyed spending time with her immediate family and visiting by phone with distant relati es. Her hobbies included cooking, crafts, sewing and gardening. Gloria loved the Bible and continued Bible study during the period she spent in the rehab-nursing home facility. Daily, she and roommate Cynthia prayed; and attended weekly church services provided by Pastor Berry at the facility. Mom was happy to have two new friends Cynthia and her mother Adrian; they made her feel as if she was at home. Gloria enjoyed her independence and never ever wanted to be a burden on anyone.
