Geneva Gasway

Obituary Geneva McMiller Gasway, devoted and beloved wife, mother, daughter, and sister slipped peacefully away from thosewho loved her the most on March 6, 2016. Geneva (better know as GG) was born on September 6, 1964 to the late Roosevelt McMiller and Catherine Hurst McMillerin St. Louis, MO. Geneva was raised in St. Louis, MO where she received her early education in the St. Louis School System. She graduatedfrom Kirkwood HS in 1982. Geneva met the love of her life, Kevin Gasway in 1978. They were united in holy matrimony on June 20, 1986 and fromtheir union, they were blessed with two sons Kevin "OJ" Gasway, Jr. and Keenan E. Gasway. In their many travels from Germany,Ft. Campbell and Ft. Eustis, she made a wonderful home for her family. The love for her children let her to work as an Educational Coordinator in Fort Eustis Child Development Center. Geneva also,worked as a part-time Security Officer and Pre-Paid Legal Consultant. Geneva was the most kind, loving and compassionate person that you could ever meet. She dedicated her life to caring andproviding for her children. Most of all, she was a great wife, mother, mother-in-law, sister and friend. Geneva leaves to cherish her loving memories: her loving husband, Kevin of Toano, VA; two sons, Kevin "OJ" Jr. (O'Shay),Vicenza, Italy and Keenan, Toano, VA; mother, Catherine McMiller, St. Louis, MO; six sisters, Hazel Moore, Atlanta, GA, Classie(Dashiell) Wandix, St. Louis, MO, Laverne Jackson, Cincinnati, OH, Jeanette McMiller, St. Louis, MO, Kathy McMiller, St. Louis, MOand Maria (Rodney) March, St. Louis, MO; four brother, Roosevelt (Maria) McMiller, St. Louis, MO, R.C. McMiller, St. Louis, MO,Lewis (Roxann) McMIller, St. Louis, MO; a host of aunts and uncles, mother-in-law, Ruth L. Gasway, St. Louis, MO. Geneva has left this place to join her father, Roosevelt McMiller, Clarence, Bernice McCoy, two brothers, Eugene McMiller sister,Bernice McCoy, two brothers, Eugene McMiller and Clarence McMiller, and father-in-law, John H. Gasway, Jr. and Grandma Lillie Hall,in heaven.Interment:J.B. National Cemetery2900 Sheridan RoadSt. Louis, MO 63125 .
