Gary Edward Lucas BKA "G" ManGary E. Lucas was born on June 26, 1962 in st. Louis, Missouri to Bonnie Jean Lucas and Howard Alton, Jr. He was the youngest of five children. His mother, father and grandparents preceded him in death. Gary also known as "G Man" to friends, received his educa- tion through the St. Louis Public School District. He worked as a dishwasher for Talayna's Restaurant and in March, 1984 Gary started working for J. and J. Remodeling until his health failed him in January, 2012. Gary confessed his faith in Christ at an early age, and joined Mt. Zion Baptist Church. He later became a member of Shalom Church and in 2013, after visiting Metropolitan Missionary Baptist Church on several occasions, Gary decided to join and become a member. He attended until his health would no longer allow him. He leaves to cherish his memory: one daughter, Kiesha; one granddaughter; four sisters, Rose Toliver of Dallas,TX, Margaret Washington of Milwaukee, WI, Charlean Lucas and Monica Lucas both of St. Louis, Missouri; two aunts, Charlean Pearson of st. Louis, Missouri, and Joann Daniel of Stockton, California; four uncles, Chester and Alvin Daniel of Columbia, Mississippi, Jack Daniel, Jr. of Stockton, California and James Daniel of St. Louis, Missouri; four nieces, eight nephews, nine-teen great- nieces and nephews, and a host of cousins and friends. Gary also leaves to cherish his memory: a very special friend, Marilyn; other special friends since 1984, Mr. Herbert Jordan (AK.A Dad) who inspired a life long turn-a-round, Mrs. Louise Watson (AK.A Aunt) who was there all the time, Mrs. Rosie M. Ford (A.K.A. Aunt) who listened with her heart and Mr. Herman Ford (AK.A. Nephew) who never passed judgement.
