ObituaryFreddie Eugene Craig, the son of Reverend Dan and Willie Mae Craig was born December 9, 1953 in Helena, Arkansas. Freddie joined Free Grace Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Reverend P.D. Allen in 1975. Freddie was the oldest of eight siblings and was known for "trying to keep everybody in line." Freddie attended St. Louis Public Schools and later graduat- ed from Job Corps after which, he was employed with Pepsi Cola, and later became a carpet layer. Freddie departed this life Wednesday, July 18, 2012, at his home in Saint Louis, Missouri. He leaves to cherish his memories: five children, (4) sons, Freddie Smith, Tyrone Smith, Christopher Smith and Corey Craig; (1) daughter, Tammy Smith-Dunbar; a loving mother, Willie Mae Craig; father, (Rev. Dan Craig preceded him in death); (3) brothers, (Milton Lee Craig preceded him in death) (Michael Allen Craig preceded him in death) and Dan Craig, Jr. of St. Louis, MO; (4) sisters, Patricia Hayes, Marilyn - Diane Craig-White, Linda Williams and Darlene Craig of St. Louis, MO; (17) grandchildren and his companion, Marlene Young and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. Interment:Lake Charles CemeterySt. Louis, MO 63133 .
