Floyd Timothy Davis

September 2, 1950 — October 30, 2022

Floyd T. Davis, was born September 2, 1950, to the late Herman and Corine Davis in St Louis, MO. He entered into eternal rest on Sunday October 30, 2022, at his home in Aiken, SC. He graduated from Ladue High School in 1968. From there he was drafted into the army and later stationed in California.  Shortly after leaving the military, he began his 47 year long career with Parsons. In 1989 he met and later married the love of his life Yolanda Hunter-Davis. Floyd moved his family to Charlotte, NC in January of 2001 and later retired to Aiken, SC.


Three siblings preceded him in death — Herman Davis Jr, Cecil Davis, and Kevin Davis.


Floyd leaves to cherish his many memories a devoted and loving wife Yolanda Hunter-Davis, five sons - Dexter Davis (Daniella) of CA, Diondre Hunter (Cassandra) of CA, Brandon Davis of NC. Alston Baker (Lauren) of SC, and Robert Trumpy of MI, one daughter Alexzandria Williams of SC; five siblings - Charles Davis (Mary Jo) of MO, Yvonne "Pat" Walton (George) of MO, Ken Davis of VA, Tyronne Davis of MO, 8 grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
