Ellen C. Webb
Ellen C. Webb was born to George W. Hollowell, Sr. and Dolly C. Hollowell on June 7, 1938. She was the
fourth daughter of six children.
Ellen attended and graduated from Parker High School in Chicago, Illinois.
She was united in Holy Matrimony to Thomas Webb, Jr. and from that union they had two children, Dolly
Catherine and Thomas Webb, III.
Ellen was a devoted member of New Northside Missionary Baptist Church and attended the midday Bible
Study learning the word of God.
Ellen was member of Wohl Recreation Center's Senior Group and held the position of president for two
years. Besides the local activities at Wohl Recreation Center, she was part of original "Girl Trip" traveling to
other cities.
Ellen had an adventurous side, she loved to travel; visiting places, friends and family. She enjoyed going to the casinos. Ellen grew up in a family that enjoyed the arts. She attended the Muny at Forest Park and spent time at
the St. Louis Zoo and the St. Louis Art Museum. Ellen lived a fu life. She provided wisdom and advice to the family and never wanted to see anybody in need.
On October 5, 2024, at the age of eighty-six, Ellen Webb was called home. She preceded in death by her parents; her sisters, Victoria Hollowell, Phyllis Davis and Iris Ellens.
She leaves to celebrate her life: her daughter - Dolly Garrison; son - Thomas Webb, III; her brothers - George
W, Hollowell, Jr. and Gerald W. Hollowell; grandson - Edward Garrison, Jr,; granddaughter Ellen Garrison; along
with a host of relatives, dear friends, whom she loved and cherished.
