Life ReflectionsElenora Terry, to her close friends, family and colleagues she was best known to as Cissy. She was born September 1, 1932 to the late Edward and Lettie Redmond in Alton, Illinois. She had three brothers, Edward Jr., James and Earl who preceded her in death. Her twin brother Ellison (Mannie) Redmond is the only surviving sibling and 1 sister-in-law, Dorothy.Cissy and her siblings grew up in Webster Groves, MO where she attended Douglas High School where she graduated. She then went on to pursue a nursing career at OFallon TechnicalSchool where she obtained her LPN License. She spent many of her working years at numerous nursing facilities and hospitals. Cissy was truly a loving care-giver, as she cared for her ailing mother, brother and daughter until their passing.Cissy was joined in Holy Matrimony to William C. Terry, Sr. on May 28, 1951 and to this union she had one son, William C. Terry, Jr. (Sonny) and 1 daughter, Tella Terry (Baby Sis) who also preceded her in death.Cissy had a passion for the sport of bowling, early on as an adult and she was in many leagues and participated in numerous tournaments throughout her life's journey. She also enjoyed cooking, traveling and of course her family.She was a long time member of First Baptist Church in Webster, MO where she became extremely active in their Food Outreach Ministry and many community service programs.Cissy leaves to cherish her loving memory: 1 son "Sonny", 1 daughter-in-law (Carol Terry), 5 grandchildren, Don Juan Terry (Toni Terry), Hamal Terry (Helena Terry) and Daliah Ferguson(Jeffery); 4 great-grandchildren, Madison, Kylee, Morgan and Adonis; and a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, cousins and dear friends.Interment:Lake Charles Cemetery7777 St. Charles Rock RoadSt. Louis, MO 63114 .
