Edward Maxwell Iii

Life ReflectionsEdward Maxwell III was the fourth of five children and only son in the union of Edward Maxwell II and Lula E. Houston, was born March 16, 1942 in St. Louis, Missouri. His parents and one sister, Gertha Lee Greer, preceded him in death. Edward was educated in the Kirkwood School District and joined the Armed Forces (Army) where he served in Company B, 5th Battalion-Grenades, 3rd Regiment receiving an honorable discharge on March 31, 1967. He worked as a Maintenance Engineer at Timberlake Apartments until he retired in 2006.Edward was baptized at, and was a member of New Covenant Church in St. Louis, Missouri. He loved music, spending quality time with his family and shopping at Dollar Tree. His greatest joy and accomplishment were his children, Edward (Jaybyrd) and Jennifer. Edward departed this life on Monday, July 11, 2011 surrounded by his family who will miss his humor, laughter and smile. Edward children will forever cherish his memory along with: sisters, Lorraine (James) Ingram, Shirley Woolfolk, Maude (Gene) Pelloquin and Brenda (Rollo) Johnson; grandchildren, Anthony, Victoria, De'Andre, Travon, Edward and A'Minah; half-sisters and half
