Life ReflectionsEddie Cornell Byrd, Jr., affectionately known as "Lil' Eddie" was born on August 19, 1982 to Tina Juliana Greer and Eddie C. Byrd, Sr. Lil' Eddie received his elementary and middle school education through the Maplewood Richmond Heights District and graduated from Webster Groves High School where he played basketball, but only for a minute. He had skills but hated sitting on the bench and decided to pursue his first love, MUSIC. That's when Eddie morphed into his alter-ego and became E-Dubb Da liustla spending countless hours in studios and on stages with his close friend "Beno" as one-half of Da Rebelz, plus many others honing and mastering his craft. Evidence of his hard work was witnessed, where as a part of Take Over Muzik with "Batt," he won every contest he entered. E-Dubb, a lyrically masterful emcee and talented performer completed multiple full-length projects and opened up for various national recording artists including, but not limited to Fabolous, Mobb Deep, Lil Scrappy, Jody Breeze, Pastor Troy and Yo Gotti. He also performed in New York alongside DJ Drewski of Love & Hip Hop: New York. As an extension of his passion for music, E-Dubb continued his education and obtained a degree in Entertainment & Media Business from the Ex'treme Institute by Nelly, where he was on the Dean's List. Eddie had a huge heart and loved his family with every inch of it. He enjoyed being in the company of others, like attending the annual Meacham Park Homecoming where he loved snapping it up with family and friends. Without a doubt, he was the life of any party and genuinely desired for everyone to shine, just like his infectious smile (with pops of gold). Eddie's energy was electric - the current from it's charge will continue to light the hearts of many.Eddie was baptized at a young age and raised in Saints Fellowship Mission.Eddie has been the most Loving father to Heaven (Riana May), Jahoddi (Bogotti), Gabriel (Gabie the Baby) and Kyle (Bo' Jangles); an amazing big, little brother to Genine (who refuses to reveal his special nickname for her), Sharon, Shirley (Twin), Brandon (Doo), Tina (Best Fran), Brian Beasley (Baby Bubba), Najje "Beno" Washington, Takyra Smith, Dominique Byrd and Kimara Clay; the best freaking uncle to Jordan, Jayson, Nicole, Venecia, VaShaun, Kai'Dyn, Najah, Ashton, Kayn, Mykah, Marion, Indeeya, Justice, Christian, Darrell, Noah and Ava-Rose. He is also a beloved nephew and cousin. On the eve of Saturday, February 24, 2018, Eddie stepped onto the stage for his biggest performance yet - with his Father in heaven.
