Life Reflections: Earlene Wilson was born on June 24, 1937 to the late Jefferson and Teola Hayes.She peacefully passed away on Friday, March 13, 2020 at her home in Blackjack, MO.Earlene was the oldest of nine children. She confessed her hope in Christ at an early age at First Missionary Baptist Church in Robertson, MO. Earlene was married to the "Love of her Life", George Wilson for 56 years.She became a member of Lilly Hill Baptist Church in East St. Louis, Illinois where shebecame "first Lady". After losing her husband in 2011, Earlene joined first MissionaryBaptist Church of Kinloch in Blackjack, MO. To this union five children were born; George Jr. (who preceded her in death), Gregory,Anthony, Sylvia and Darryl. In her early years, she worked at Grandpa Pigeon's and Normandy Osteopathic Hospital.Bowling was her favorite hobby, where she was a member of "The Dynamic Four" BowlingTeam. Her favorite chores were cooking, cleaning house and ironing. She leaves behind to cherish her memories: her children, five sisters, Gertrude Peebles,Marilyn Brewer, Linda Hughes, Vivian Hayes and Patricia Hubbard (David); one brother,Leon Hayes; two sisters-in-law, Josephine Hayes and Ester Bell Clark; and a host of nieces,nephews, grandchildren, cousins and friends. She was preceded in death by her sister (Mary Ann Parker) and brother (George Hayes). A special "Thank You and God Bless You" to Darryl (her youngest son) for your lovingkindness and caring of your mom during her illness. Interment: J.B.
