Life Reflections Dorsey "Dee" Jessup was born in Clarksdale, Mississippi to the union of James and Rachael Jessup.He was preceded in death by both parents, four brothers: Arthur Jessup, James "Junie" Jessup, Jr., Willie George "Bill" Jessup, and Darryl Jessup, and two sons: John "Kevin" Shepperd and Keith Shepperd. He attended Douglas High School. He was a tri-athlete that excelled in basketball, football and baseball. He was no stranger to hard work. After high school he was a committed employee of Webster Presbyterian Church, Seiler Instruments and Westborough Country Club. He married the love of his life Marian "Mamie" Shepperd on December 31, 1974 at Webster PresbyterianChurch. After some dedicated courting she finally gave in to his special gift - a cashmere sweater. He said, "that's what got her." With their union he gained a wife and five children. Dee departed this life to join his wife Mamie on their 47th wedding anniversary, December 31, 2021. He leaves to mourn his passing: two brothers and one sister, Elton Jessup, Alfred Jessup and Odessa Jessup; three daughters, Aileen Shepperd, Ava Lawrence, and Marilyn "Kay" Davis (Eldridge);fifteen grandchildren. Tammy Shepperd, Lillian Lee, Dorsey "13o" Lawrence (Donna), Christopher"Antione" Lawrence, Delvia Carter (Jessica), Candice Cox, Deja Cox, Cheryl Cox (Allen), Dominique Cox,Tiffany Smith (David), Terrence Moses, Teresa Moses, Jocelyn Shepperd, Deon Shepperd, Malik Shepperd,and a host of great & great-great-grandchildren. .
