Life ReflectionsDorothy Mae Washington was born July 15, 1930, the daughter of the late George and Verna Mae Wade in St. Louis, Missouri. She confessed her hope in Christ at an early age. She was united in holy matrimony with the late Clarence Washington, Jr. She gained one stepson and ten children were born to their union.She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, her stepson, three sisters and three brothers. Dorothy Washington departed this earthly life on Saturday, April 21, 2018 at 5:30 A.M. in Sacramento, California after a nine month battle with cancer. She worked at Chrysler for 24 years and after retirement, traveled back and forth from St. Louis to California, enjoying her retirement and family. She leaves to cherish her memory: ten children, five daugh-ters, Janet Jones, Doris Marion (Michael), Rose Washington, Shirley Doll (John), Karen (Fernado) Goss; five sons, James Wade, Ervin Washington, Bobby Washington, Michael (Stella) Washington, and Kevin (Shanta) Washington; one sister, Thelma Wade; 168 grandchildren, 72 great-grandchildren, and 20 great-great-grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.
