Doris Ann Tompkins

Life Reflections Doris Tompkins was the oldest of nine children, she was born on June 18, 1958 and was born in Tunica, Mississippi . The family later moved to St. Louis, Missouri, where she attended the St. Louis Public Schools. Doris accepted Christ at an early age at Zion Towers Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Rev. Samuel Rabun. She later went on to worship at numerous churches. Doris fulfilled her life as a dedicated daughter, sister, mother, grandmother and servant for the Lord. She loved spending time with her friend, taking her grand- children apple picking, shopping and playing games on her computer. On Saturday, April 18, 2015, God called her home. She leaves to cherish her memories: her mother, Frankie Miller; her children, Corey (Stephanie), James (Temeisha), Jazmine, Michelle and Terry; her grandchildren, Tarnisha, Corey, Jr., Deriona, CJ, and Jaliyah. Her long-time friend, Lonell Williams; sisters, Faye, Yvette, Kathy, Constance and LaJoyce; Brothers Jamel, Antonia and Terry. She also leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Doris will be greatly missed. Interment - Memorial Park Crematory 5200 Lucas Hunt Road St. Louis, MO 63121 .
