Donald E. Stanford

Life ReflectionsDonald Stanford was the oldest son of Adam Stanford and Alice Cooper-Stanford. His farther, brother, Calvin, and late wife, Karen, all preceded him in death. Donald was born November 3, 1955 at St. Louis County Hospital. He attended J-Milton Tuner and Henry High Hough Elementary School and graduated from Kirkwood High School. He attended Bailey Technical School where he received a certificate for Diesel Mechanic. Donald was a very hard and dedicated worker. He had a lengthy work history which included Kirkwood School District, Bi State, Sams, and was working at the United States Post Office at the time of his death. Donald was fun, loving, friendly and a generous person. He was always willing to lend a helping hand if needed. He was loved by all those who knew him. He had a love for nice clothes. He also enjoyed watching sports, especially football. He always entertained his family and friends on special events and holidays. Donald loved to cook, his specialty was lasagna. His caring nature and good sense of humor earned him many life long friends. He will always be remembered. He recently remodeled his childhood home. On Monday, January 2, 2017, Donald was called home to be with the Lord. He has to move on to his new home where he would enjoy peace and happiness forever more with no more pain and suffering. Donald leaves behind: a loving mother - Alice Rollins; daughters &-- Shequei Stanford and Candice Mien-Lino; one son - Jared (J.J.) Stanford; three granddaughters - Kalea, Kieona and Yasmine; two grandsons - Faith and Chris; two brothers - Glen (Sheila) and Robert (Rhonda); one sister-in-law ew Cynthia; and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.Interment:Oak Hill Cemetery 10301 Big Bend RoadKirkwood, MO 63122 .
