Dennice Anita Brown

Life ReflectionsDennice Anita Brown was born October 23, 1956 at St. Louis County Hospital in Clayton, Missouri. She was educated at James Milton Turner Elementary School in Meacham Park and then at Nipher Middle School, graduating from Kirkwood High School with the class of 1975. Though she had no formal training, Dennice was a skilled seamstress and her talents were often in demand. She could make anything from wedding dresses, children's clothing, hats and uniforms as well as knitting and crochet pieces. She was also a talented cook and competent home health care worker giving caring service to the elderly. She leaves to cherish her memory: her caring mother, Joyce Thomas; a loving and devoted daughter Lakesha Benton (Petty Officer 2nd Class Benton of the U.S. Navy); five sisters, Renee, Gail, Cynthia, Felecia and Robin; two brothers, Dennis (her fraternal twin) and Charles; aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews; a host of cousins and dear friends.
