Demetrise Thomas

Life Reflections Demetrise Andre Thomas, age 43 was born January 19. 1975 in St. Louis, Missouri to the union of Larry and Janette Thomas. He grew up in the area and later moved his family to Springfield, Missouri where he made many friends. After several years, he returned to St. Louis where his heart truly resided. He left this world too soon, for a better place with God's spirit on Thursday, September 6, 2018. He was truly blessed to have a family who loved him so dearly, and because of that love he was a devoted son, brother and father and grandfather, all of whom lovingly called him Meechie. He loved life, full of music and family, and rarely seen without a joke or a smile. Meechie brightened the lives of those around him. Demetrise is preceded in death by his father Larry and his infant son Neel. Surviving, is his mother, Janette, his paternal grand-mother Ida Bell Thomas, three brothers Martez, Cameron and Larry as well as a dear cousin, Monique Marshall. He is also survived by four children, Nicholas, Demetrise Jr., Nathan, and Mariah. His grand-children are Alden, Ihtaii, Mahkenzie, and Natalya. He leaves to remember his life a host of aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces, cousins, and a best friend, Brandon.
