Life Reflections Debrah (Debbie) Maclin was the child of Mercedes and Leroy Williams. She was a beautiful person and a fashion powerhouse. She was born in St. Louis, Missouri. Early on in life she attended St. Luke A.M.E. Church. In her younger days, she helped to direct the church choir. Debbie was married to Willie Moten. Debbie attended Ritenour High School. She obtained a GED and went on to graduate from Stanford Institute of Design. Her truest talent was her interior design skills. She was in the top of her class. If you have ever been to her house, you would have seen that it was designed immaculately enough to be on the cover of the finest Interior Design Magazine. Debbie was a gorgeous woman who exuded charm and wit. She was bold and unafraid of life's challenges. Debbie's strength helped her overcome life's extreme set-backs. She was truly an Elegant Black Swann and a resilient soul. God placed a lot of challenges in Debbie's life, but she learned how to overcome them all. As a child, she danced in the famed Elmwood Lil Peppers. Her super talented son, Lamarr Kenneth Maclin (AKA Nitowl) was her heart. Not a day went by that she didn't mention him. Debbie was an excellent loving mom and she had a mother's undying love for LaMarr. It was a love that could never be broken...no matter the circumstance, the time or place. Debbie was a survivor and was always ready to defend her loved ones. All we had to say was "I am going to tell my big sister," and trouble would fade away. Family was very important to her. Debbie is our Mona Lisa, a loving mom, a great sister, a giving aunt, and a beloved daughter. We cherish her and carry her in our hearts and souls from now and forever more. "A soul prepared for Heaven. She is bathed in His Glory and Forgiven. She has shown us how to love and how to stand tall when we suffer. God, Momma, Don, Grandma, Aunts and Uncles wait to guide her home." Love and Love and All Love for Debrah (Debbie) Ann Maclin...She is going home! - Dr. Kim V. Robinson.
