Life Reflections"Come to me all who are weary and heavy-laden, and I will give you rest. Matthew 11:28 David Lee (Sugarman, Sug, Sugarbear) McPhearson, Jr. was born on March 28, 1979 in St. Louis, Missouri to the union of Donna and David McPhearson, Sr. Donna later remarried Samuel Irons, who was forever a driving force in Sug's life. Grandparents, LaCenya and Sylvester Woo!folk and Ella Mae McPhearson, all preceded him in death. Sug gave his life to Christ and joined Central Baptist Church under the leadership of Reverend Dr. Robert Charles Scott. Sugarman was educated in the Jennings and Hazelwood School Districts. He graduated from Cardinal Ritter High School where he excelled and lettered in several sports. He was an "All American" in football, baseball, basketball, and track & field. He was an essential part of the team that went to State and won the Championship. He was scouted by several colleges and received many scholarship offers. Sugarman was a gifted poet, loved music and games. Pool, darts and ping-pong were some of his favorites. He worked in tree service and landscaping and received a landscaping degree. David's legacy lingers on to those he leaves: a loving mother Donna Irons; father 0- David McPhearson, Sr.; step-father "-a Samuel Irons; grandfather Otis Nichols; brother Clinton (Myette) Graham, Jr.; sister LaChionna Graham; four children -- Dejah, Damaius, Amari, and Nathan; and a host of uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins, and many lifelong friends.
