Life ReflectionsCourtney "Deontay" Williams-Byrd was born February 10, 1985 at Deaconess hospital in St. Louis, Missouri to Lillie Williams and Robert Lee Byrd. tie attended Roosevelt tIigh School where basketball was his favorite sport. At a young age Courtney experienced and lived a full life with the mind of a man with wisdom. Courtney was an unselfish and lovable son, brother and uncle. He was the youngest child of Lillie Williams who survives him. Also surviving are his sister, Rosalyn Williams and two brothers, Torrance L.Harper and Claude Harper, Jr. Courtney is also survived by three additional brothers and two sisters from his father. He was preceded in death by her father, Robert Lee Byrd and his grandmother, Rosie E. Jones, and two uncles, Johnnie L. Jones and Robert Lee Jones. He also leaves to cherish his memory: two special nieces, Atavia D. Harper and Lynesha A. Warren and two special nephews, Sevier L. Harper and Sha'Quor L. Harper; two special aunts, Mary Ella Jimerson, and Mary L. Jones; and four uncles, Fred Lee Orange, Jess Lee Davis, Lewis C. Jones and Albert C. Jones, and a host of other relatives and friends. To Uncle Courtney God loves you so go on and dance with the angels. tie will take care of you, I know without a doubt. You are in a good place. Have fun! I will love you forever!
