ObituaryMrs. Cora Lee Maclin bgan her life on November 6, 1914 in Stanton, Tennessee, the daught ofSam Davis and Susie May. Very early in her life she entered into a fellowship with Chirst at theFeeedonia Baptist Church. In 1950 she moved to Saint Louis, Missouri and later united with MountZion Baptist church then the First Baptist Church of Elmwood Park.She was united in Holy Matrimony to Lonnie L. Maclin, Sr., on April 9, 1931. This union was blessedand multiplied with the birth of their nonie children. Mrs. Maclin departed this life on Sunday, November 16, 2014 at 7:45 p.m. at Rosewood Care Center.She was a loving and caring mother to use all especially her husband and family. She would alwaysfill with encouraging words of God reminding us that "God can fix anything". She loved her church,was President of the Mothers' Board for several years. She also loved working with the church and helping out with anything that she could and going on the church trips. She loved to fish, workeduntil shw was 81 years old and loved her family and friends. She always had that beautiful smile onher face and a good sense of humor. She was truly a loveable person with a good heart. Some of herfavorite sayings were "I love you and there ain't nothing you can do about it", "God makes no mistakes", and "God is always on time" and this list could go on.She leaves to cherish her memory her children: Mercy, Martha, Charles, Susie and husband John, Larry and wife (Gwen) from Atlanta, GA; June, daughter-in-law, Laverne, dughter-in-law, and Betty, daughter-in-law; and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.Preceded in death by her husband, Lonnie L. Maclin, Sr., 3 sons Louis maclin, Sr., Lonnie L. maclin, Jr.,Jessie Maclin, 1 daughter, Ernestine Thomas.Interment:Laurel Hill Cemetery2000 N. PennsylaniaSt. Louis, MO 63133 .
