To My Husband Through tears I saw you sinking, and watched you fade away. My heart was almost broken, you fought so hard to stay, but when I saw you sleeping, so peacefully free from pain, I could not wish you back again, to suffer that again. -Your Loving Wife, Alice A Daughter's Heart .....your love was unconditional...your heart was full...your generosity unending. Thank you LORD for allowing him to be My DADDY! In my father's house are many mansions: if it was not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and will receive you unto myself; that where I am, there you may be also. Love You Daddy Dianne Marie A Daughter's Heart My father was ophaned by age 2, so family was important to him in a special way. His kindness and tenderness, his concern touched my life in so may ways. My first memory of him is the day we brought my little sister home... "The Sound of Music at the Loew's, cutting grass at the Thornhills in the mist of their turkeys, just the two of us. My father's children played a vital role in life. We knew his sorrows. We were on some dates with him, he was always making sure we knew we belonged and were loved. We shared his happiness and life, To his devoted wife, I appreciate you and your love for his sickness. To our uncles, you probably knew him best having known him the longest. To Robert Houston, you are a faithful friend, always encouraging. My mother and I were there when my father was baptized by Rev. Fiddmont at Mt. Zion Mission- iary Baptist Church in Richmond Heights, MO. His brother teased, that dad wanted to be a preached. He went with us to church in our youth, and later in life, we came to share the same faith. His desire was to go to church. So I say to you all what I believe are the sentiments of my father. Isaiah 55:6-13. Seek the Lord while he may be found, call upon him while he is near: He loved us, and we all loved him. He will be greatly missed -Karen Rollins Interment: Friday, March 6, 2015 J.B.
