Life Reflections Claude was born August 12, 1941 at st. Louis County Hospital to Flinnard and Flossie Cannon of Richmond Heights, Missouri. Claude joined church at an early age. He attended the Maplewood-Richmond Heights High School. After graduation, he joined the Army where he served for three years. When he came home he worked in Human Resources as a Job Coordinator for several years. Claude was united in Holy Matrimony to Marsha Hunt on September 27, 1974. They lived in University City for several years, before moving to Houston, Texas where he worked as an insurance agent. Claude was fun loving and a jolly person. All of the family loved him. He had many friends, and never met any strangers. Claude will be greatly missed. He leaves to mourn his death a loving and devoted wife, Marsha Cannon, one Daughter Tracey Johnson. Three sisters, Lucille Alton (widow) of St. Louis, MO, Lenora McCree (Edward) of Rock Hill, MO, Mattie Stanford (John) of Columbia, MD and two brothers Preston Cannon of Alton, IL and Jimmie Cannon of Las Vegas, NV. He also leaves a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins, along with lots of life time friends. He was blessed to have in his life Natalie "Chickie" Sheppard and Nathanial "Chipper" Henley, who helped so graciously during the last days of his illness. Claude was a real trooper and was greatful for the life he lived. .
