Life Reflections 1970-2008 Christopher James Ewing was born on February 1, 1970 to Marva and Roosevelt Ewing at Homer G. Phillips hospital in St. Louis, MO. Christopher was the sixth of ten children. His father preceded him in death on March 29, 1995. Christopher, we called him Chris, but all the girls and women called him Chrissy because he had a smile with big dimples ... a ladies man is what he was. He had such a wonderful sense of humor. Just coming into a young man he kept himself some type of job and spent a lot of time with his brothers, family and friends until he decided to spread his wings. Then a couple of years back Christopher had a leg amputation after getting hurt where he was working and developed other health problems, but he didn't give up. He was so blessed by the Lord. The strength and the will he had was incredible, equal to his father's. They both went through the same trials. He had a artificial leg and got around still like a roadrunner ..... you couldn't keep up with him. He never complained nor was he angry. The last thing he said to me not so long ago .. - .. He said he lived life with ease and enjoyed it.. ... and with laughter, said "God is still giving me life and I won't complain ..... He gives me what I need". He leaves behind his loving mother; Marva L: Ewing, Grandmother; Mary Etta Kemp, brothers; Robert L. Ewing, Sr., Donnie C. Ewing, Tony C. Ewing, Sr. and Bobby J.
