Charles Darnell Howard

Life reflections Today we celebrate the life of our beloved husband, brother, father, grand-father, Charles Darnell Howard. Born into the world on February 27, 1954 to Greta Jean Buckner and James Abrams (who preceded him in death.) Charles was a very outgoing, strong minded, hardworking, loving man. Charles was a God fearing wonderful man. Charles grew up in Meacham Park (Kirkwood, MO). lie attended Kirkwood High School. Charles loved to take pictures and loved electronics. Charles work-ed for the City of St. Louis and then City of Kirkwood until he retired in 2020. Charles gave his life to Christ and was a devoted member of Tyler Christian Spiritual Church. His laugh would brighten the room outside of his camera flash. Charles loved football every year he and close friends played fantasy football, his favorite team was the Las Vegas Raiders. Charles leaves behind; a doting and caring wife, Yvette Howard; his children, Kenya Shelley, Walter Howard; brothers, Paul Howard, Richard Hanagan; sister Mariann Spears; grandchildren (5), great grandchildren (8), nieces and nephews and a host of loving friends and other family members.
