Life ReflectionsCarroll Elizabeth Lee was born to Delmar and Rena Lee on September 24, 1937 in St. Louis, Missouri. lier parents, husband and one sister, Gertrude (Chubby) preceded her in death. Carroll accepted Jesus Christ at an early age and was baptized at the First Missionary Baptist Church of Robertson by Reverend James E. Butler. Carroll was a faithful member of the Women's Missionary Union, Pastor Support Ministry and the Culinary Ministry. She was also famous for her (Peach Cobbler). Carroll remained a faithful member until her health failed her. She was educated at Fairmount Elementary of Robertson, Simmons Elementary School and Douglass and Sumner liigh Schools. Carroll worked as a CNA at Brookview Nursing liome. She was united in lioly Matrimony to Joseph (Joe liorton) Durham on September 2, 1974. They were blessed with eight children. Carroll was called home to be with the Lord on April 24 ,2009. She leaves to cherish her loving memory: eight children, five sons, Anthony, Larry and Richard Durham, James Bolden, and John Winston; three daughters, Bridgett, Shrisa, and Earlene Durham; eleven grandchildren, (she raised two, Rena and Shafonda); one sister, Cassandra (John) Carlise; two brothers, Edward and Dwayne; two brothers-in-law, Bose (Charlene) Durham and liezekiah Durham; one aunt, Gertrude Davis; one great aunt, Mildred Austin all of St. Louis, MO; best friend, Clementine Williams and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends (Carroll LOVED her Grandchildren) Internment:Laurel Hill Memorial GardensSaint Louis, MO .
