Life Reflection Carrie was born August 12,1932 to James and Roxanna (Toney) Moore in St. Louis, MO.Carrie was better known as Moochie to family and friends. She received her formal education from Lincoln Elementary and graduated from Sumner High School. At an early age she was baptized at Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Reverend James E. Fiddmont, Sr. At one time she served as secretary of Sunday School and sang with the Sun Beams, the Youth Choir and the Community Chorus. In her later years she served as the Director of the Berean District (Homeless) Division for the church. She entered into marriage with George Clark, to this union three children were born: David, Brianand Karen. Her parents and both sons preceded her in death. She was later remarried to Roosevelt Williams and moved the family to California. She worked at Blue Cross/Blue Shield. Years later she retired from Trans America, Inc. where she was a supervisor,eventually returning to St. Louis and rejoining Mt. Zion. The family would like to thank the staff of St. John's Place Nursing Home where she resided for the lastten years of her life. She leaves to cherish her memory: her devoted daughter, Karen (John) Elrod; grandsons, Edward Clark of Los Angeles, CA and Mark Elrod of Capitol, CA; sisters, Carol A. Hall and Mary A. Moore both of St. Louis, MO; nephew, Thomas J. Hall; and special cousin, Margaret D. Toney of St. Louis, MO;plus a host of other family and friends. Broder Cremation .
