Carolyn Faye (Turner) Hoskins was born in Kansas City, Kansas, June 27, 1952 to the union of Earl R. Turner and Mamie Arintha Turner. She departed this life October 4, 2010 at St. Joseph Hospital, of St. Charles, MO. Her father and two brothers preceded her in death. Carolyn was united in marriage to Charles Mann. In later years she was married to Charles Hoskins. She attended school in Kirkwood, MO and graduated from Kirkwood High School. At an early age Carolyn united with First Baptist Church of Meacham Park, Kir~wood, MO. She started working after-High School. Mter a few years she became employed by General Motors and was employed there for 26 years until her health began to fail. During a layoff period from General Motors, Carolyn operated and ran a successful Car Detailing business. She closed her business and returned to General Motors. Carolyn was a very dedicated mother to her two children. She was a loving grandmother. She was a very giving and generous person. She leaves to cherish her loving memory: her mother, Mamie Arintha Turner of Maryland Heights, MO; one son, Damon Mann; one daughter, Ashley Mann both of St. Louis, MO; three brothers, her twin brother, Carl Turner, Kenneth Turner of St. Louis, MO and Earl Turner of Kirksville, MO; two sisters, Patricia Turner and Marilyn Turner of St. Louis, MO; six uncles, Earl L. Elmore (Alice) of Knob Nobter, MO, Rev.Glen (Evg. Evelyn) Elmore, Lynn C. Elmore of Higginsville, MO, Floyd (Sherry) Elmore of Kansas City, MO, Burt Elmore of HIgginsville, MO and Ronald (Tonja) Elmore; six aunts, Laverne Collins of Warrensburg, MO, Elizabeth West of Topeka, Kansas, Dawn Cole of St. Louis, MO, Myrlon D. Edwards of Lee's Summit, MO, Mary C. (Ernest) Williams, Minnie Elmore of Higginsville, MO, and a host of nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends. Interment -Forever Oak HillKirkwood, MO 63122 .
