When tomorrow starts without me and I'm not here to see, if the sun should rise and I should find your yes filled with tears for me. I wish so much you would not cry the way you did today, while thinking of the many things we did not get to say. I know how much you love me, as much as I love you, and every time you think of me, I'll be thinking of you too. When tomorrow starts without me please try to understand, that an angel came and called my name and took me by the hand. She said my place was ready in heaven far above, that I would have to leave behind ail those I dearly loved. As I turned to walk away a tear fell from my eye, for all my life I never thought that I really wanted to die. I had so much to live for, and so much yet to do, it seemed almost impossible that I would be leaving you. I thought of all the yesterdays, the good days and the bad, I thought of all the love we shared and all the fun we had. If I could relive yesterday, just even for a while, I'd want to say good-bye to you, to hug you, see you smile. But then finally I realized that this could never be, and all the special times we've shared, must take the place of me. So today I walk through Heaven's gates, but I didn't feel alone, because God looked down and smiled at me, saying "Carlton welcome home!" So when tomorrow starts without me, don't worry, don't be sad, I'm in the hands of Jesus and that should make you glad.
