Carl Edward Evans

Life ReflectionsCarl Edward Evans was born on May 11, 1932 to the late Robert and Lula Evans in Grenada,Mississippi. He received his formal education in his native state. Carl and his family movedfrom Mississippi to St. Louis, MO in 1952. There he began his career of working in the late1990's.He mat and married Bessie Mae Evans and they began a long marriage of over 40 plus yearsbefore she preceded him in death in 2003. Carl's interests included music, sports (especiallythe St. Louis cardinals baseball team), back yard barbeques and overall socializing with familyand friends. He particularly enjoyed the holidays when he would be able to get some of hisfavorite foods like ham and Carmel cake. He liked animals and was very fond of his beloveddogs.Carl had a pleasant personality and was very giving to his friends. He will be missed by many.He departed this life on June 30, 2016. He leaves to cherish his memory a devoted nieceJacqueline Brooks, great-niece Jacqueline Michelle (Jami), "siblings" Debra Ford and RalphStewart of Dallas, Texas, special cousins John and Louise Woods of Chicago, Illinois and a host of other relatives and friends.Interment:Laurel Hill Cemetery2000 North PennsylvaniaPagedale, MO 63133 .
