Life ReflectionsCalvin Stanford was the second oldest son of Adam Stanford and Alice Cooper-Stanford. His father proceeded him in death.Calvin was born October 29, 1956 in St. Louis, Missouri. He attended J. Milton Turner Elementary School and graduated fromKirkwood High School. Calvin was united in Holy Matrimony to Cynthia Ann Moye in October 1979 they enjoyed 36 years ofmarriage. Calvin and Cynthia were Middle and High School sweethearts. He entered into the United States Marine Corp in1977. Calvin was a dedicated employee at St. Joseph's Hospital for over 20 years. Calvin moved his family to Atlanta,Georgia in 2000 to start a new career at Delta Airline, He worked there until his health started to fail him.He had a love for hard work to provide for his family. He maintained a very tough demeanor but loved and cared for all. Calvininstilled values of hard work, family togetherness, friends, and most of all the love of God.Calvin rededicated his life to Christ, September 2015.Calvin departed this life on Sunday, August 14, 2016, leaving behind a loyal and devoted wife, Cynthia Stanford, loving and faithful mother Alice Stanford-Rollins, daughter and caregiver Calya, two beloved sons Calvin, Jr. and Carl "Andre", four spoiled grandchildren, Kaelyn "KK", Taya, Jordan, and Calvin "TJ", three brothers, Donald, Glen (Sheila), and Robert (Rhonda), nieces, nephews, and a hostof family and friends.Interment:J.B.
