Life Reflections Bettie Lee Oldham was born September 8, 1937 to the late Mamie Parker and the late James Randle Dumas in the rural county of Seminole in Wewoka, Oklahoma. She was the youngest of 11 children. Early on the family moved to St. Louis, MO where Bettie attended Kinloch High School, graduating in 1955. Bettie went on to attend Cosmetology School, where she completed her studies and graduated as a licensed cosmetologist in 1956. Bettie also got married in 1955. From this union two children, Linette and Steven, were born. In 1973 Bettie started her career at McDonnell Douglas (Boeing). She continued her career there until her retirement in early 2000. Bettie was raised in the church and had a strong Baptist faith. She attended church services regularly until her health would no longer permit. And even then, She still attend-ed church services every Sunday morning in her kitchen, at her counter, with her Bible in hand. Bettie had a strong personality, known for speaking her mind and rarely biting her tongue. More importantly, Bettie also had a kind heart and a generous spirit. She delighted in spending time with her family. She never missed a family reunion, no matter where it was. She loved to travel and didn't mind driving. Experiencing new and exciting adventures was fun for her. She enjoyed the excitement of the casinos and in the blink of an eye she would leave town to travel to see new casinos that would be opening. Needless to say, Bettie enjoyed retirement. On May 31, 2020, after a lengthy illness, Bettie was called home to be with the Lord, her Savior. She is preceded in death by her parents and 9 of her siblings. She leaves to mourn and cherish her memory, her (daughter) Linette Morris, (son) Steven Ward, (granddaughter) Tiffany (Mario) Osborne, (grand-son) Kristopher Morris, (her Beloved Sister) Allie M. Balark, and six great-grannies (as she would call them) Jason D., Senyaa E., Amari S., Ian K., Amariah M., Amara D., and a host of special nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Interment: .
