Life Reflections Betty Jean Williams Carr was born on November 26, 1932 in Blytheville, Arkansas to the union of the late Ethel ArmorHaywood and Norris Williams.Betty was preceded in death by two brothers and one sister, Bobby Haywood, Dorothy Stanford and Boyne Haywood, Jr.She was educated in the Blytheville, Arkansas and St. Louis, Missouri Public School systems. Betty proudly performed domestic work for may years throughout the St. Louis area and later became an employee ofBoeing Aircraft where she remained until she retired.She was united in marriage on July 1st, 1967, and was a faithful wife until death. She accepted Jesus Christ as herpersonal Lord and Savior, she joined Mt. Beulah Missionary Baptist Church where she was a faithful member until herhealth failed.Betty leaves to cherish her memory: a husband of 48 years, Robert Lee Carr, Jr.; brothers, Freddie Haywood (Mae) of Portsmouth, VA, Edward Haywood (Marie) of University City, MO and Jerry Haywood of Atlanta, GA; one sister-in-lawViola Haywood of St. Louis, MO; 6 stepchildren, Patricia Ann Lewis of Benton harbor, MI, Laura Sue Horton of McGehee,AR, Melanie Rawls (Perry) of Monticello, AR, Robert Anthony Carr (Theresa) of Warren, AR, Wilma Turner of Bakersfield,CA and Debra Easley of St. Louis, MO; 14 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins andfriends.
