ReflectionsBernice Tolbert was a loving and caring who brought joy to those around her. She was born to Fannie andDutch Cobb in Senatobia, Mississippi. On May 19, 1934.She attended Public School in Senatobia and later relocated to St. Louis, Missouri. She followed in her mother'sfootsteps and devoted her life to Christ at First Baptist Church of Elmwood.Bernice loved the Lord, enjoyed visiting and praying with her family, and enjoyed fishing.She was employed with Mary Institute and Country Day School for twenty-two years. She lived a full life andfound happiness in helping others.On Monday, April 13, 2015 surrounded by her family, Bernice was called home to Glory. Preceding her in deathwere her parents, a daughter, four sisters, a grandson, and a great-grandson.Celebrating her life and cherished memory are: her children, Johnny (Rita) Sesson, Willie C. (Cheryl) Sesson, Cornelius (Noval) Tolbert, Shieland Tolbert, Napoleon (Vincil) Johnson, Johnny (Jeronica) Sesson, Kimberly (Jack) Boehm; her siblings, MC Cobb, Mildred (Othie), Lee Parker, JC Cobb, and Marvin Cobb; 18 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews and cousins.She will be greatly missed.Interment:Lake Charles Cemetery7775 St. Charles Rock RoadSt. Louis, MO 63114 .
